Here’s where Beckett said, “ok now pretend it’s your first day of school.” Lol
Boots: Jessica Simpson • Handbag: Louis Vuitton @ farfetch (used) • Scarf: old (great spring color here) • Sweater:, old from Old Navy (similar here) • Jeans: Target maternity • Dior Lipstick

Hello loves,

It’s still a little crisp outside so I’m feeing a bit like Fall in my muted brown and green ensemble, but I paired it with an orange/hot pink lipstick combo from Dior to spice things up. The lipstick doesn’t really show up in these pictures well though because it was getting dark outside.

Hope you have a fantastic Wednesday! 😘

Mint and Robin’s Egg

I am obsessed with the muted light green color of the bag and shoes. They are my dream accessories. The shirt is a current favorite. It reminds me of something that I think one of my grandma’s would have worn in the seventies, but the minty accessories freshen up the look. Because that’s what mint does. Duh. I’d better start saving up now! 🙂

Purse: Valentino

Flats: Valentino

Blouse: Topshop

Jeans: Cheap Monday

Ok, it’ll take me awhile to save for that so I found some cute alternative accessories that are 🙌🏻 and a lot less expensive, but still have a similar look and a fresh Spring vibe. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Flats: Kate Spade

Purse: Rebecca Minkoff

Blouse: Vince Camuto

Jeans: Blank Denim

Has anyone else been fighting the nasty (snotty) cold that is going around? I literally haven’t felt 100% good for over a month now and most recently I had the flu. Not cool, especially since I’m in the 3rd trimester and am so uncomfortable. Thankfully, I’m feeling better today.

Hope you all have a super fun weekend! Enjoy the signs of spring!

I was tempte to name this post Die Hippie, Die. But my frontal lobes took over and told me to kill that impulse. If you know why I almost did that, let’s be friends.

This look was super fun to put together and took very little effort, which is why I love it. This dress was on a huge sale because it was one of the last ones, but I’ve linked some similar styles above that are both maternity and for you regular sized girls;)

The parts of the dress and the “hippie trend” that I enjoy the most are the colors and the lace details. They make this something that I can wear this spring, summer, and into fall. What is your favorite spring trend?

This weekend was fun and relaxing for us. We haven’t had a lot of downtime this year and it’s nice to have time to clean the house, go on “errand dates,” and catch up on sleep. I also finished a drawing while Becket finished editing another chapter of a book he wrote a few years ago (It’s an actual book… and it’s good). I’m so proud of him for revisiting it and improving it like he is! I didn’t realize he could make it even better than it was until he read me the revisions.

Here’s my drawing if you missed it on Insta. Tap to see the metallic details in action. 📽

I love how it turned out– especially in the frame!

Hello….I tried to capture a glimpse of metallic detail in the light and I couldn’t get it without being in the picture too. 📸🤗

Have a lovely Monday!

Over at our house we started planning for our baby’s nursery. we decided to go with a simple color palette that can work in the future for either a boy or a girl. Various shades of gray are super popular nerd nursery color choices lately and I’ve actually always been a fan of gray even before it was popular! So I think we’re going to go in that direction.

The last picture has some cute stuffed animals and outfits! I think that Burberry shirt would be adorable for family pictures. And that gingham onesie… Do I need to say more? 🙂 I already have the cutest little hangers from Target for the closet! We found them in the Dollar Section, but they were $3. Can you tell what gender we’re having? 🙂

The sunlight was so refreshing this weekend that I absolutely had to go outside and go for a walk. The neighborhood kids were outside all weekend playing street hockey and it made me wish I were a kid again so I could go play in the woods! 🙂 how did you take advantage of the nice weather this weekend?
