Every February I have the best intention to order a cute pink dress or shirt before the 14th, but I never do that in time and I end up without something cute to wear on that day of love.
It doesn’t hurt to run into a local store to grab something for your date, but online you have more control over your spending budget because it’s easier to compare item prices and you can find cool sites like Shein that stock cute things for cheap!
This year I’m quite proud of myself because I hit up Shein with enough time to find something adorable and inexpensive (literally $21 before discounts :)). And I also made sure you also have enough time to order something in time for Valentine’s Day too!
As I promised on Instagram, I wanted to give a few tips for ordering your stuff from Shein!
4 tips for ordering:
#1- order it asap! Sometimes it can take over a week for the item to get to you so be sure to order it now so you don’t have to rush and find something else last minute!
#2- order a size larger than your initial thought, especially if you have a bigger chest. I measured myself and decided to get a medium based on their size guide, but I still wish I would have gone one larger. My shirt is a medium (I usually wear size 4-6) and my bust is just a little tighter than what I’m comfy with.
#3- wear this with high waisted jeans/skirt/shorts. When I ordered this top, I didn’t realize it only comes down by the navel so I couldn’t wear it with my low rise white jeans as I had planned. If you don’t have high waisted pants, borrow some from a friend or snag some cheap ones here.
#4- figure out what to wear under this since it is see-through lace and doesn’t come with a camisole. Here’s a great option from Shein that you can order with the shirt to go under.
I know this was a longer post, but thanks for reading and clicking! Muah!
A special thanks to Shein for partnering with me on this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
