Shirt: Nordstrom Rack | Pants: TJ Maxx, older, similar here from Nordstrom Rack for just $30! | Shoes: similar (under $30) from Macy’s | Bag: Michael Kors (exact), but I have to include this one too because I love the shape and the stud details | Earrings: similar southwestern style

About This Look:

This is a 4th of July outfit to help inspire your clothes choices leading up until Independence Day! 🙂 My lipstick was red, but it kinda started coming off so it doesn’t give the whole patriotic vibe I was looking for, but you get the picture!

Today Wolfie and I made a trip to the Minneapolis Farmer’s Market with Terri Yang, who blogs at Cupcake and Coffee Break, and one of her cute sons. We took the opportunity to take each other’s pictures, get some gorgeous flowers, and have a quick chat. It was rainy and a little chilly, but it made it easier to take pictures, that’s for sure!

We planned to go to Spyhouse coffee after, but the babies were too tired and hungry for us to sit for coffee so we took a rain check on that.

As soon as Wolfie and I made it home he went to sleep so Beckett and I also took a nap and it was soooo good! If I wasn’t worried about Wolfie being awake all night I think I would still be sleeping.

Something Else to Know:

In other news, there’s a giveaway on my Instagram page right now. It’s for a new iPad, a cute little instant camera, a Kate Spade bag, and a Kylie eyeshadow palette. I’m really excited about this giveaway, not just because it includes sweet prizes, but because the other women who are doing it with me seem really great. I don’t always follow other people who I do giveaways with, but I followed a bunch from this group. They’re that cool! 😀

Anyone is free to enter the giveaway, but if you’re not 18 yet, you’ll need to check with your parents and have them confirm if you win.

Final Random Thoughts & WIDN:

Now Beckett’s putting Wolfie to bed while I’m writing this. Next up on our agenda: The Bachelorette!

Do you watch? If so, who are your favorites?

We like Peter and Dean. We also liked Diggy a little too, but she sent him home so…. you know, bye! I think she’s making a huge mistake with Bryan. He seems like he’s just telling her what she wants to hear.

By a fumarole, thankful the weather tamed the smell of these things… less of that sulfur smell made this trip a lot more bearable!

Sweatshirt: ROMWE | Shoes: Payless (just $15!)| Jeans: AE jeggings (cut off at bottom by me), other frayed hem jeans…. here!

A few weeks back we took a trip to west Yellowstone Park with my side of the family. It included all six of my siblings, my brother’s sweet GF, and my mom’s parents. We all stayed in a huge cabin near the park and had lots of family time.

If you were there, you’d know that I basically wore this ($15) sweatshirt all week. It was freezing outside most of the time we were there (in the 40’s during the day and literally freezing at night) and I didn’t pack many sweaters…. hence why I repeated the same outfit a lot.

Did I mention that it snowed the day after Beckett, Wolfie, and I got there? :\

Why I love it: A sweatshirt like this isn’t something I would usually showcase on my blog. I usually like to wear stuff like this while working out or lounging around the house, but something about the stripes on the arms caught my eye and made this preppy sweatshirt seem special. Then I saw the price and new I had to share it with you.

The shoes are another one of those things that I wouldn’t normally wear, but for some reason I was drawn to their simplicity and laid back style. I was also drawn to the price tag because they are on sale for $15! 😛

Ordering tips: When ordering from Romwe, I suggest you always size up at least one size. I’m wearing a size large in these pictures and it gives me a little room, but I’d say it fits just right. Also, I have to be honest…. I highly recommend ROMWE’s tops and dresses, but admit it’s really difficult to get the correct sizing in the pants because the measurements are difficult to decipher. In addition, I would recommend looking closely at the lengths of dresses because they can be a little short at times. But at those good prices you’ll love what you buy!

If you have any fit or sizing questions about anything on Romwe’s site, feel free to comment below, DM me on Instagram, or email me at TheClassyArtist@gmail.com! I love answering your questions and I’ll try to answer any of your questions as they come in!

your ultimate 4th of July dress awaits

This dress is the perfect no-fuss dress for the 4th so I knew I absolutely had to share it now so you have time to order. You can even get 10% off with a special code found below!

I’ve worked with My Sister’s Closet Boutique before and love their stuff. Remember that camel lace up shirt from this winter? Yeah, that was them– always carrying feminine and unique yet trendy styles.

I couldn’t help but want to show off something from their summer stock and the Sky Blue Penelope Lace dress caught my eye immediately! The frame of it is a well-constructed basic swing dress with pockets (love that style for summer). They could have just stopped there and it would be a great everyday dress, but that lace overlay adds mega style points and is amazing! Oh and did I mention it comes in peach too?

For the 4th: I’ll wear it with these Rebecca Minkoff sandals and tussled hair, but I’ll add a bright red lip and white hair ribbon to add a patriotic flair.

Use the code KELLIE10 at checkout to get 10% off your whole purchase until July 10!

You’ve heard from me, now I want to hear from you! How will you wear it?

You definitely need new ones this month…

Hi folks! I teamed up with Bootay Bag again this month to remind you of something you can always use more of! Undies!

Lol

It’s true though, right?

With the season of too short of shorts, late night swims, and crazy adventures you never know when your undergarments may accidentally make an appearance so definitely sign up for this! :0 I’m kidding, of course, but cute underwear never hurt anyone 😉

I’ve been wearing the previous pairs for a few months now and I love how they fit and the quality is really good too. I usually get my undergarments from VS and I think the quality between the two brands is the same.

When ordering your own “Bootay Bag,” you get to set your preferences and pick the size and style of underwear you like, but part of the fun of it is not knowing what you’ll get! Last time I got one of these I was sent a style I wouldn’t have picked up off the rack in a store (one pair had 3 side bands instead of 1), but I really like their unique flair.

When you think you have enough underwear *for now* you can just put the subscription on hold!

If you or your significant other (or friend or whoever) needs to get rid of their gross panties, sign up now through this link! 😉

This post has been a long time coming. We’ve been so busy lately from work, vacation, recouping after vacation, home sprucing up, and being sick that I haven’t had time to post this!

But I absolutely had to share this shirt with you because it’s under $10 and it comes in tons of different colors! I think I may need it in white too 😉

My hubby and I are going to go relax in the spa now. Have a great night!

I kept accessories simple and monochromatic chic for a day at work and a meeting. I also picture this being super cute with frayed hem skinny jeans, brown or colorful wedges, and a straw bag.
