Just like that (insert snapping fingers here) the warmth and beauty of summer faded into a chilly fall. One minute it was 90 degrees and I was 9 months pregnant and suddenly we have a daughter and it’s in the 50s! Good thing we only bought baby girl a few summery newborn outfits!
And speaking of outfits, I’m really excited to fit back into some regular jeans for the first time in about 6 months! It will still be a long while before my “normal” jeans fit (if they ever fit again), but the main thing is that I don’t have to wrestle with those darn maternity jeans again, PTL! A word of advice to a any new moms: buy cheap jeans a few sizes up from your regular size to wear as long as possible into the pregnancy because no maternity jeans stay up for longer than 30 seconds. Bonus, you can wear them a few months after giving birth too!!!
One of my favorite parts of fall are the bonfires so I thought I’d put together a cute ootd for bonfires or football games. Speaking of football games, my little brother has his Bethel U homecoming game this weekend & I’m thinking of going if its not too cold for baby bird.
I couldn’t end this post without a little Wellesley Bea Witzke! I introduced her here yesterday in case you missed that. Also, there has been some confusion about her name. It is is pronounced Wells-ley, but we liked the traditional spelling best so there’s an extra e in there.
& here’s this pic again b/c I love it! Pretty sure they will end up being best friends. 😉
