Question:

What color should we paint our front door? You can see it in these pictures below… I think our HOA already approved all 3 colors, but I’m still torn! Comment below!

Black? Light blue? Salmon?

Life update:

It turned out that Wellesley has RSV and it’s breaking my heart. She’s currently napping right next to me now and I’m just praying this doesn’t get worse.

Beckett is finally feeling like he’s getting into the swing of things and that kids are listening better than they had been so that’s good!

I’ve been trying to collaborate with a few fellow bloggers to help spread the news that I’m looking for art commissions. Being a stay at home mom is literally the most fulfilling thing ever, but I am praying to be able to be helpful by selling art. So if you feel so called, please share, share, share to help us spread the word! I love painting embryos and ultrasounds, barns, and Christmas scenes, but I recently expanded to doing custom florals as you can see here!

Ok, so you know the top is from Shein, but I need to share a few more details with you. Yesterday’s sweater was size Medium and so is this leopard tie neck shirt, but I would say size up for this blouse if you are on the busty side; it’s a little tight on my chest and a bit shorter than I hoped for. But it’s still 100% lovely!

Belt: Hermes dupe from Overstock.com, similar monogram in brown… Michael Kors | Boots: old from Walmart.com, but I’ll share a similar pair under $25 here | Bag: Chanel is from Gilt, but I found a similar Chanel bag under $2000 from yesterday’s post here | Jeans: from Target, but I’m loving these Calvin Klein lately

When I’m done breastfeeding this medium will fit fine, but being a little busty right now, it’s a little tight… as you can see!

I also have to tell you about my lipstick because it’s my favorite and it literally won’t come off. lol! In fact, I wore it two and a half days straight after this shoot because I was too lazy to take it off! It’s so good! Here are the links to all of the makeup I’m wearing in this post:

Please note that the mascara is not waterproof, but the eyeliner is.

Xo,

Kellie

I’ve been keeping a secret for a few months… also, you won’t believe how soft this $8.50 tee is!

Top: old navy | pants: TJ Maxx $20, not exact, but look similar | watch: timex – I’ve had mine for a year and wear it often!| bracelets: I’m linking a SUPER pretty alternative! Check it out below too! | hair extensions: barefoot blonde hair in Brownstone | bag: vintage Louis Vuitton | necklace: gold with layers
I’m currently laying in bed, writing this post, and watching the latest Bachelorette. So if there are typos or I actually write the word, “Becca” or “Minnesota,” don’t mind me. 🙂 So far I can’t tell why girls keep complaining about this season because it seems good, but we shall see if it holds my attention in the next few weeks.
This morning I told Beckett that I accidentally looked cuter than I thought I would and therefore needed him to take these pictures- haha! I may have seen him roll his eyes. But for real, the braids got quite a few compliments today because they were so fun!
When planning this post, I mainly wanted to show you this comfy shirt, but I also thought I should reveal my good-hair-day secret and tell you about my Barefoot Blonde Hair extensions. I feel like I can speak to them now that I’ve been wearing them nonstop for a few months.
This isn’t a paid post so you can be sure that I have no special interest in giving these extensions a good review. But I can’t not give them a good review! They are silky, remy hair (all shafts going in the same direction), that is a fine consistency and a great length. However, I think the main attraction to the Barefoot Blonde extensions is that the clips are super great quality and they have an at home try on service (seriously a genius idea b/c I wouldn’t have guessed that ‘Brownstone’ was my color by a website!!). Oh, and the other great thing about this line is that they now come in ‘seamless’ wefts, which are said to feel lighter and look even more flawless.
Seamless is a little more expensive than the traditional kind I got, but now the kind I have is sold out. But I would definitely get the seamless if I were ordering again today.
Have I mentioned how soft the shirt pictured is?! It’s seriously heavenly! And I’m not kidding, I want to find that same material at Joann’s and make a baby blanket out of it! 🙂 Maybe I could line a baby blanket with it!

Ps-here’s a pic of the bracelet I linked and it’s just $18!

Merry Day after Christmas!
We had a good time visiting my family this week and enjoyed getting to see some of the cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents who we don’t get to see regularly. I hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating and that you are filled with hope and joy as we get closer to the new year.I absolutely had to share this outfit idea because stripes and leopard are my favorite patterns of all time. So I naturally think this is a shareable outfit!
I also needed to share the outfit because I’m collaborating with Romwe again on this! I’m honestly obsessed with their stuff! Especially their selection of classic pieces, which if you have spent any time on their website you know they carry a lot of trendy stuff too, but I’m never disappointed by their selection of classy clothes too.
Anyway, back to the sweater topic: I love this particular sweater because it’s a camel/caramel color with ivory stripes… acombo will never go out of style.if you’re in the market for a sweater like this, you should also know that this is a one sise fits all sweater, meaning it will fit different people differently. I am 5’9″ and weigh about 140 lbs right now. So it fits normal on me, but if you’re smaller it may look oversized or vice versa. my jacket is from two Christmases ago and I’m still loving it! It’s Via Spagia, but I found a similarly lovely one by Cupcakes and Cashmere that I’ll link here in case you’re interested! My scarf is Burberry, bag is Kate Spade (a favorite of mine), and my jeggings are American Eagle— as always!
We took these pictures on the same day as I took the above photo, so I thought I’d share my makeup look with you too! I did a little bronzer on my cheeks and then added it to my eyes like eyeshadow. I kinda liked the look so I wanted to show you!
I also added a nude lip from the Maybeline super stay line and it looked complete! I gotta say, I love that super stay matte lipstick. It seriously stays on all day and doesn’t get weird (bumpy) unless my lips are dry and cracking. Otherwise it stays on super well and I don’t need to reapply until the evening.

Friday Basics

Hey ladies, I’m so excited to show you these three outfits because I would wear any one of them any day of the week. I especially love the preppy look of that first sweater, but I’m always down for a pink girly sweater or a classic ensemble with a creative vibe. Each outfit is super affordable too!
Take your pick….

The of Duty Model:

Brown sweater | Crisscross jeans | Metallic heel booties

The Rockstar Chic:

pink sweater | black button jeans | platform shoes

The Creative Fashionista:

Writing sweater | Plaid crop pants | Red fuzzy heels
Enjoy!
