Question:

What color should we paint our front door? You can see it in these pictures below… I think our HOA already approved all 3 colors, but I’m still torn! Comment below!

Black? Light blue? Salmon?

Life update:

It turned out that Wellesley has RSV and it’s breaking my heart. She’s currently napping right next to me now and I’m just praying this doesn’t get worse.

Beckett is finally feeling like he’s getting into the swing of things and that kids are listening better than they had been so that’s good!

I’ve been trying to collaborate with a few fellow bloggers to help spread the news that I’m looking for art commissions. Being a stay at home mom is literally the most fulfilling thing ever, but I am praying to be able to be helpful by selling art. So if you feel so called, please share, share, share to help us spread the word! I love painting embryos and ultrasounds, barns, and Christmas scenes, but I recently expanded to doing custom florals as you can see here!

Deals to know today:

This outfit:

Ok, so you know the top is from Shein, but I need to share a few more details with you. Yesterday’s sweater was size Medium and so is this leopard tie neck shirt, but I would say size up for this blouse if you are on the busty side; it’s a little tight on my chest and a bit shorter than I hoped for. But it’s still 100% lovely!

Belt: Hermes dupe from Overstock.com, similar monogram in brown… Michael Kors | Boots: old from Walmart.com, but I’ll share a similar pair under $25 here | Bag: Chanel is from Gilt, but I found a similar Chanel bag under $2000 from yesterday’s post here | Jeans: from Target, but I’m loving these Calvin Klein lately

When I’m done breastfeeding this medium will fit fine, but being a little busty right now, it’s a little tight… as you can see!

I also have to tell you about my lipstick because it’s my favorite and it literally won’t come off. lol! In fact, I wore it two and a half days straight after this shoot because I was too lazy to take it off! It’s so good! Here are the links to all of the makeup I’m wearing in this post:

Please note that the mascara is not waterproof, but the eyeliner is.

Long Leopard Cardi + lots of exclusive discounts just for you!

Hey gals! Here are a few things going on this week for me, what are you up to?

Life lately:

My sister Katie (see her here) came to visit us this week and it was so nice to catch up a little. And she also played with the kids while I did the dishes & curled my hair! I’m such a great host! :/

Beckett brought home a cold from school so we all have been fighting that off and now Wellesley has it and it breaks my heart to hear her so congested.

Right now I’m cuddling Wellesley while Beckett reads a Thomas the Train book to Wolfgang… for the millionth time! lol

This week I’ve also been working on a few bridal bouquet paintings in collaboration with a few other bloggers! Click here to order your own custom painting!

Hi loves,

I’m usually a pretty positive person. Well, kinda, anyway. I’m naturally disposed to being a pessimist, but I usually balance that out pretty well. However, yesterday was terrible for me. I felt so upset about everything and cried like 10 times. Have you ever had a day like that? Wolfie made it better though by grabbing my face and giving me a few of his sloppy “kisses” on the cheek.

Alsoooo, I’m pretty sure I have mastitis or something because every time I feed Wolfgang one side I think I’m going to pass out from the pain. He bit me REALLY hard a few days ago and since then nursing constantly feels like he’s biting me, even though he isn’t.

ANYWAY, sorry if you’re a guy or if you’re just grossed out by that in general.

Can you believe Thanksgiving is finally this week?! I’ll have a Thanksgiving outfit post for you soon to help inspire your Turkey Day #ootd.

Thanks for reading!

Kellie

Top: old, from Sweden (similar style from L’Agence if you are a size 4, otherwise, this one from Nordstrom looks amazing!) || Pants: Vero Moda (similar style) || Heels: Lulu’s (similar style from Charles David) || Purse: Chanel, similar or budget option by Rebecca Minkoff

What could be better than a plaid flannel for Fall?  Plaid heels, of course! And I found the perfect pair at the perfect price on Lulu’s awhile back and I had to have them… plus I was ordering something else and wanted free shipping… they get me every time. 😉 I wanted to wear them in a casual, not-so-Christmasy-way (because they are red + green) so I paired them with my good old leopard print blouse that never fails to look chic… even when not tucked in or accessorized in any special way. Oh, and if any of you are tall, the Vero Moda pants are my all time FAVS. They are absolutely perfect for me in length, waist, leg width… the list goes on! Plus, mine have a really cool zipper detail. This pair in the picture are old, but that’s the best part. I got them while I was living in Sweden, (which was over a year ago now!) and they’re still going strong. Maybe it is that leathery coating that keeps them looking good. Maybe. Either way, I love them!
This weekend is my sister-in-law’s bachelorette party in Nashville and I’m really excited to celebrate the end of her single life and the beginning of something wonderful! 🙂 Do you think these heels are Nashville-appropriate? Any advice on how to style them for a night out?
Love you all!

Kellie
